The QRRRWN's Strong Women Webinar series continues to grow with Maggie Beer
the next guest scheduled to share her wisdom with women around Australia via an innovative online format.
Designed to inspire and empower, the webinars are interactive presentations, or web-seminars, directed at women in a range of situations but who may find it difficult to attend urban-based events.
“These webinars give women all over Australia a chance to hear from strong, inspirational women who have walked the path and know the challenges and rewards of being a strong woman in business, agriculture, rural communities and for their families,” QRRRWN President Georgie Somerset said.
“The monthly 2013 webinar series has presented such high profile and successful women as Miriam Silva
, COO of Fleet Partners and one of the 2012 100 women of influence in Australia; Jane Hunt
, CEO of Fitted to Work and also Cathy McGowan
, just prior to her election as the Member for Indi.”
“And the next Strong Women Webinar on November 12
will be a conversation with one of Australia’s best known cooks, fresh food advocate and entrepreneur - Maggie Beer.
“Maggie will share her experience of following her passions and building a successful business. With a career spanning farming and food production, as well as television presenting and food writing, Maggie is a woman more than qualified to inspire women to ‘fit it all in’ in business and in life.
“The QRRRWN is delighted these ‘strong women’ will be sharing their wisdom and a slice of their life with us – it’s a great way to listen to a conversation and learn, from home or work.”
