Funding
QRRRWN is a not-for-profit and is therefore reliant on grants, sponsorship and donations in order to:
- carry out the objectives under the Constitution;
- achieve the yearly goals set by the Board; and
- meet the needs of our membership.
We are fortunate to have maintained a long term relationship with Westpac who has sponsored QRRRWN for many years. We are also privileged to have received funding for our programs from a range of other sources including the Financial Planning Association, local sponsors where events are held and in 2019 and 2020 the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal has made it possible to bring to our members our Annual Conference and the Strong Women in Leadership Awards.
Grant Writing
As with all not-for-profits it is essential to have a dedicated team who are skilled in the area of grant writing who can volunteer their time to ensure the strategic objectives of QRRRWN can be achieved.
We are deeply grateful to the funding and grant writing team who volunteer their time to carry out QRRRWN’s funding strategy. The details of the team are set out below.
If you are interested in joining the grant writing team, have some ideas that would support QRRRWN’s funding strategy or wish to learn some new skills from our dedicated team, join the team by emailing eso@qrrrwn.org.au or Helen Warnock at helenw@qrrrwn.org.au.

Programs Funded by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal
In 2019 and 2020, the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) has provided funding for QRRRWN’s ‘Thriving Women, Thriving Communities Project’ that includes QRRRWN’s Annual Conference and the Strong Women in Leadership Awards. The funding also enables our Volunteering & Regional Teams program.
We are deeply grateful to FRRR for their ongoing support to ensure that these events and programs are made accessible to our members and other rural, regional and remote women.
