What are Regional Teams?
This March, the QRRRWN Board is launching the establishment of regional teams so that we can:
- gather our members into teams and reduce the impact of distance
- meet in those teams by teleconference or webinar for greater connectedness
- collaborate across the State and also work closely with the Board to achieve the goals set for 2020
- achieve goals that are unique to each region
- provide timely and specific feedback to the board about the needs of members
- assist QRRRWN to run events locally within each region
- enable greater local collaboration with local Councils and business groups
- and roll out with greater ease development programs.
Please note that the proposed Regional Teams are not branches of QRRRWN. They will be informal teams that are managed via our Volunteer Program. The Barambah Branch will continue as is.
The other Project Team members include Julie Mayne, Tracey Martin and Marie Cameron.
Can I lead a Regional Team?
If you are interested in being a team leader in a region or supporting the roll-out of this project, please contact Megan Kuhn on eso@qrrrwn.org.au.
- Being a Regional Team Leader, is a volunteer role
- We will liaise with the Team Leaders through a telco with a Board member at least every 6 weeks or more frequently
- There will be at least a quarterly Member Connect telco for the members in each region that focuses on them.
- We will prepare a role description and share that with those interested in this volunteer role.
What Region am I in?
The pictorial below shows you which QRRRWN Region you will be in. We will advise here who your Team Leader will be and their contact details, once appointed.
Not all towns are mentioned below, some are simply districts. Please contact Megan Kuhn if you need assistance identifying your QRRRWN Region on eso@qrrrwn.org.au.
