2020 Volunteering Program
The QRRRWN Board is currently planning its volunteering program for 2020.
As a members and volunteer you can help us with a range of programs and events that are nearby or further away. The volunteering program support the establishment of the Regional Teams and we hope that in each region across Queensland we will have Regional Teams that have completed the volunteer program such that they ready to go if an opportunity presents in that region to lift up rural, regional and remote women, that all volunteers area aware of the goals and objectives of QRRRWN, who we are, our values where we are headed and are training in accordance with our Volunteering Manual and policies and procedures.
We want all our members and volunteers to have the best experience possible. Volunteering gives all our members an opportunity to become more connected within the network, within your Region and lift up, inspire and develop rural, regional and remote women.
Please contact the following people if you have any queries about the Volunteering Program:
Funded by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal
In 2019 and 2020, the Federation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR) has provided funding for QRRRWN’s ‘Thriving Women, Thriving Communities Project’ that includes QRRRWN’s annual conference and the Strong Women in Leadership Awards. The funding extends to projects such as our Regional Teams & Volunteering Program.
We are deeply grateful to FRRR for their ongoing support to ensure that these events and programs are made accessible to our members and other rural, regional and remote women.
